How to Make Coffee Liqueur From Scratch At Home

Coffee liqueur is perfect for sipping on its own or using in cocktails. And, it couldn't be easier to make at home. All you need is coffee, sugar, and gin! (or vodka)

The key to making an excellent coffee liqueur is to start with high-quality coffee. Use your favourite coffee beans and brew a strong batch of coffee. You'll want to use about twice as much coffee as you would for a regular cup. Once the coffee is brewed, add sugar and vodka (or another neutral spirit) to taste.

Let the mixture sit for at least 24 hours, so the flavours have a chance to meld. Then, strain the coffee liqueur through a coffee filter or cheesecloth. Pour it into a clean bottle and enjoy!

The coffee liqueur will stay for several months to enjoy all winter. Make a batch today and enjoy the delicious flavour of homemade coffee liqueur.
