A lot of the time we hear customers say that they don't like gin and they don't like tonic, so what do they recommend we serve them. Believe me, it happens more than you think! Thankfully, all is not lost in situations like this.
A sweet and fruity G&T with Pink Gin and Lemonade made with our ROOBEE Rhubarb Gin is one of our go-to drinks we'll suggest. It's light, refreshing, doesn't have the strong or quinine taste of a more classic dry G&T, and is a super popular serve right now.
You can whip this Pink Gin and Lemonade cocktail up at home in under 2 minutes.

Ingredients

50ml ROOBEE Rhubarb Gin
-
150-200ml lemonade (tip: experiment with normal, cloudy and pink lemonades to find your perfect tipple!)

Plenty of cubed ice

Fresh Strawberries
-
Fresh Mint

Grab a large copa (aka balloon) glass or a tall high-ball glass...
Try to ensure your glass is pre-chilled and not warm. To do this, you can fill it with some ice and swirl it round for 15 secs and then discard this ice. However, if you don't have that much ice to mess around with, swill your glass under some very cold water. Just make sure that glass is nice and cold somehow yeah!...
Add 50ml (i.e. a double shot) of your ROOBEE Rhubarb Gin...
Add plenty of cubed ice. IMPORTANT: ice that bad boy all the way to the top to reduce dilution and a watery cocktail...
Crack open your lemonade and pour into your glass...
Chop 1-2 juicy strawberries in half and drop into your glass
Get a sprig of fresh mint and clap it in between your hands to break out the flavours. Place in your glass.
