There's something about Rhubarb and Ginger that people go crazy for. Two flavours that are meant to be together!
This Rhubarb Gin and Ginger Ale cocktail is super quick and easy to make and tastes delicious.
For those of you that aren't fond of tonic, we often get asked what to serve Rhubarb or Pink Gin with. If someone likes ginger in general, then a Rhubarb Gin mixer we always suggest is Ginger Ale, or Ginger Beer if you want to up the spiciness.
In terms of garnish for rhubarb and ginger gin, then we tend to suggest a simple wedge of orange or orange peel. The orange zest gives it that wintery, festive feel.

Ingredients

50ml ROOBEE Rhubarb Gin
-
150-200ml Ginger Ale (or Ginger Beer)
-
Plenty of cubed ice
-
Orange
GIN
TONIC/MIXER

Grab a large copa (aka balloon) glass...
Try to ensure your glass is pre-chilled and not warm. To do this, you can fill it with some ice and swirl it round for 15 secs and then discard this ice. However, if you don't have that much ice to mess around with, swill your glass under some very cold water. Just make sure that glass is nice and cold somehow yeah!...
Add 50ml (i.e. a double shot) of your ROOBEE Rhubarb Gin...
Add plenty of cubed ice. IMPORTANT: ice your glass all the way to the top to reduce dilution and a watery cocktail...
Crack open the ginger ale (or ginger beer) and pour into your glass...
Slice a juicy orange wedge and place in your glass
Sit back and enjoy your ultimate refreshing Rhubarb and Ginger Gin Cocktail!
