'The Last Word' is another Prohibition style cocktail, originating in 1920's Detroit.
For 30-40 years it was hugely popular, but then strangely faded into obscurity for reasons no one seems to know!
However, in 2005 it was revived in Seatle's Zig Zar bar.

Ingredients

25ml 'MERCATO' Mediterrnean Gin

25ml Green Chartreuse
-
25ml Marasca (sour cherry) liqueur

Lime

Cubed ice
Directions
Firstly, pre-chill your serving glass with ice whilst you make your cocktail.
Grab your cocktail shaker.
Add in 25ml 'MERCATO' Mediterranean Gin to the shaker.
Add in 25ml Green Chartreuse to the shaker.
Add in 25ml Marasca (sour cherry) liqueur to the shaker.
Squeeze in 25ml fresh lime juice.
Ice your shaker up all the way to the top and give it a FIRM shake.
Doubkle strain your shaken liquid into your pre-chilled serving glass.
Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
Sit back and enjoy your Last Word cocktail!
